Is it possible to insure a car, just to have it parked on the street? If so, approximately how much is it, and who can provide it?

To park on any public roadway you need at least PLPD which is the same as the minimun to drive around, so no, there isn't really anything for just parking on the street.

So people may make reference to "parking insurance". This is just comprehensive / specified perils (fire & theft) which is not enough to be on the street. That is for when the vehicle is sitting in your driveway / garage / assigned parking stall.
