Well went to the track today and besides being cold as hell, had a great time and got to talk to and meet alot of good people. Between the cold, rain cancellation and constant oil downs still managed to set a new PB just two weeks after my last PB. Even though I haven't' had much time to change the tune since I brought on my secondary set of injectors the car is running real rich which is at-least safe. Looks like I also got the clutch problem sorted out finally and something less then a 1.9 60ft.:D Well on to the run. Car went a 9.8@147Mph. This was the same boost setting as my other 150Mph passes but like I said the car is running pig rich and that probably accounted for that few lost Mph. I'm extremely happy with the car and finally getting that elusive 9 second pass. Can't wait for next year. Here is a in car vid of the run enjoy.

Congratz :)

Question - my cobra's frame/engine/etc... was manufactured in the US and imported into Canada, so does that mean if I bring it to race city and run the 1/4 I can take the import title from you? I mean, technically I did import it all :drama:

Your telling me I have been running 10's on my 18's for 4 or 5 years now. Nice to get the monkey off my back before another cold Alberta winter. I think the car still has alot left in it for next year two.

 You can bring it to race city and run it all day but I doubt you'd be taking anything from Ron.

I fucking hope so. Ron's car puts out way more power than that Enzo.

Actually fab'd up a chute the night before.:D I think the car at this elevation with some more boost and a better launch and not running 9 AFR's could see low 9's high 8's without stripping the interior etc... I guess the goals for next year would be 8's @160Mph  :burnout:

I think you'll be doing a lot faster than 160 in the 8s, Ron... Shep runs high 7s at 195 mph or so. I'd be thinking you'd be above 170 mph to trap mid 8s.

These are some of the Top DSM guys all running 8' s with mid 150-160 traps. The difference between a high or mid 8 and a high 7 is hundreds of Hp
