Anyone know of a relativly comprehensive buyers guide for 2nd gen (FC) RX-7's on the web? I may be able to get a nice deal on a single owner, garaged one, but I wanna do a bunch of research first before going to look at it. :)

Thanks :D

I'm not sure about where you would find this.

I found when research any gen rx7 information, for that matter anything wankle rotary that one of the best resources was:

www.rx7club.com

I believe it's one of the larger rx7 forums on the net!

I can't fit the turbo in with the wastgate acutator, so instead of modifying the wastegate bracket or clocking the comp housing a touch I'll cut a big chunk out of my frame rail.

No I did NOT blow my motor it's the clutch............a month later, ya I guess I blew my motor.

In all seriousness, he is fairly knowledgable about the stock stuff, and electronics in general, he has just done some head scratcher type things.

:( i so wanna get a rx 7... but by the time i get a car, i think the cars are going to be too old :(
because we are already on topic, cna i ask some really stupid questions? when u "rebuild" an engine, what exactly are u doing?
are u getting the speedometer back to zero(because new engine? :dunno: ) and how old is a car when it becomes too old?
(now lets get realistic here, i'm not talking classic mustangs, i'm just saying normal jap cars :D) and because i really dun have a clue about cars, i doubt i will be able to do anyting on a car if it needs work done on it...
haha yeah.. sorry my questions dont make sense.. tired :thumbsdow

Hey if your new to cars none of those are dumb questions.

When you rebuild the engine the rest of the car stays the same. A car with a rebuilt engine may have 200 000kms on the chasis and only 3kms on the engine. If you know what your doing no car is too old. But if your not inclined and you don't have the desire to learn about it, an old car is not for you.
