Softwater unit

I’m looking for recommendations on a softwater softener to be used in a house of 4 people. Should I go with a standard GE unit or a Kinetico unit? Any one use a Kinetico system?

Me too I need one aswell. I liked the ones Costco was selling... Trail installs them but their super expensive 2800 each

My GE failed on me after about 5 years. It was a cheap unit so I didn't expect to outlive the house, but 5 years is kind of short. :thumbsdow

Next I buy one WON'T be a GE.

I just bought a really cheap one from Trail Appliance for $500 but it's only really meant for 2-3 ppl at most. Seems to work, can't tell otherwise.
