Nice work but question, those loose wires I see are very close to the turbo and could easily melt even with that blanket, were those protected in any way and wrapped so it looks cleaner?

no dyno yet just a street tune on the silver S2000 @ 8psi. I'm putting in a clutch next week on it and then running 12-14 psi. White S2000 just waiting for some new parts to come in.

Mr_ET:

Yeah we took care of those wires. Those wires were actually for some DRL box cause it's a u.s. vehicle. So we eliminated the box.

yes it is. the guy who built the kit told me to put it there. i guess with aem ems that sensor is not needed anymore but vtec still works.

For those interested - I own the silver S2k - WHP right now is estimated at 325-340 at 8.5 psi.

At 14psi I should be hitting 420 - 440 to the wheels, depending on what dyno I get on I guess. An AP1 with this kit recorded 420whp on a DynoDynamics (heart breaker dyno). Considering it was a DD and an AP1 with less supporting mods then myself, I'm hoping to acheive 440 - 460 whp. We will see i guess.

Once I get the clutch installed, I will send the OP the dyno so he can post in here.

Props to A for some super clean work.

Speaking of clutch - OP, when do you want to do this? :poosie:

Coilovers, pads, and winter tire package installed

I had to lower the front about another half inch to get rid of the wheel gap. So now there is no wheel gap all the way around. Handles much better too. Will be installing TEIN EDFC next weekend on this car.

How is the ride in the F after the coilovers?
Even more firm than stock?

Quick question, do colder temperatures affect the coilovers at all? (Damage-wise) I'm thinking of revamping my suspension but im not sure if i should wait until the summer.

PS: I'm still waiting for a tune lol...

Moisture and salt from winter driving can cause them to corode and seize over time. I would spray those with some toyota flexfilm. Good to see Andy finally got his coilovers on. Can't wait to see Max's car in action.

Will it affect the valving inside the body? Meaning, can it blow faster? People were telling me that was the case on certain brands? :dunno:

It should be fine but it's like anything else in cold weather, take it easy for a bit while things regain their motion and warm up a bit from the car moving.

i didn't really get to drive before i put them in, but after the install seems pretty firm but yet good for a daily driver. They are Comfort Sports so i wouldn't expect them to be overly aggressive.

exactly wut redlyne_mr2 said but these ones won't rust cause they are full aluminum bodies. the only thing i would worry about is the pearches getting stuck together and then breaking them after having to try and unlock them for adjustment.

wut mr_et said but i don't think u can really take it easy when driving off in cold weather. they will be rough for the first little bit of the drive but yeah after they ease up u will feel the difference of them starting to work again.
