command start 290i-c

I have a 98 sunfire with a 290i-c command start. Nothing happens at all when the I button is pressed, when the II button is pressed my dash lights flash twice and when i press both buttons the lights flash ten times? Any suggestions? This happened to me before, last time it just magically started working again!

Check your on /off switch under the dash. Look on the back (if it is on), and make sure the switch contacts are good.
