Hey guys, one of my friends is selling his almost stock 1997 Integra Type R. It only has 44xxxkm on it. He has all service/registry/carfax records.

Modlist:
-short shifter
-itg cai
-dc 4-1 header
-rear tie bar
-hid kit

It's from Toronto and I know there are stories about cars from out east. But this car is in AMAZING condition. It's in better condition than some 2001 models I've seen. It is never winter and hardly summer driven.

This guy's a mechanic and has cared for the car like it was a demented kid. He's only asking 21,000firm for it. PM me for details.

I'll post pictures when I get home tonight. This is an awesome deal! If someone buys my car, then I'll take this for sure...

Looks real nice, not that interested in a "self cared for" car though. Even if he is a good mechanic

What kit is it on the Type-R? Looks OEM?

who makes that spoiler lip? never seen it before
and are those recaro's are they included?

rc2002

self cared for? I'm not sure what that means but this guy has all the service records from the dealership. 44000km is only 10 oil changes anyway... Pinoyhero it's got less mileage than your car and yours is a 2002.

I'm not sure about the spoiler lip, but it's a carbon fibre one. And those Recaro's were parted out already. Basically it's as stock as you're going to find an ITR for, with the exception of the mods listed above.

It's just the angle of the picture. I can guarantee that this car is flawless. I would guarantee that if someone bought my car, I would buy this one.

Oh yea, would he trade for a spec-v?

rc2002
11-16-2003, 12:14 AM
I don't think he would be considering trades. I think he just bought an NSX which is why he's sellng both of his cars. He already sold his B18C5 Civic Type R Hatch, and now he's selling his real ITR.

There's pictures of the B18C5 civic on my webpage: http://www.enel.ucalgary.ca/~chanri

Oh yeah, he pulled the original engine from his ITR and used it to build up his Civic Type R. The motor in the ITR now is a BRAND NEW one bought from an Acura dealership two years ago and has only 10000km on the motor. There is dealer paperwork to prove this. So the ITR has 44k on the body and 10k on the motor. An awesome deal if you ask me...

its sounds almost too good... new motor with a car with only 44,000kms?? why would he pull out a motor from his ITR and not just put the new one from Honda into the hatch instead? :dunno:

thats a pretty sweet ride!!! too bad i just bought a house, or that'd be in my garage!!

His civic was his race car - he tracked it a few times. Ran something like a 12 second 1/4. I guess he thought it was a waste to put a brand new engine into a race car. The car's sold by the way, but pics are up on my webpage.

http://www.enel.ucalgary.ca~chanri

But the ITR was never track driven - it was his show car and he wanted it to be mint. He was planning on keeping the ITR for a while, but then an NSX came along and now the ITR has to go.

is it still lowered? What was/is it lowered on?

rc2002
11-19-2003, 09:40 AM
It WAS lowered with Tein coilovers, but those have been parted out. Like the post says, it's in stock form except for some minor things like headers, intake, front bumper conversion, etc. etc.

Sorry about the confusing pics. I don't have any more recent ones.

ARe you sure, because on your website it has this listed for the Civic:

2001 b18c5 type r motor

BTW, those aren't stock ITR wheels are they? They look much nicer than stock.

I'm the middle man here - the best thing to do is contact the seller. [email protected]

Nope, they're not stock ITR wheels. Those are Advans and are damn expensive... They've been parted out already though.

WHy does the car have a 98+ front clip on it? Has it been hit ?

rc2002

Nope. The bumper styling changed after 1997 and my friend liked the newer styling better. No accidents!
