Looking for someone to show me the ropes of FL Studio 8... tried to figure it out on my own with no prevail

What exactly are you trying to figure out? I found the best thing to do was look at the preloaded songs and check out the settings (channel, mixing, effects etc) and to replicate the steps how they got there. That and checking tutorials on youtube, some really good ones out there!

sometimes one on one teaching is better but yeah I thought fruity loops 3 was not to hard to learn lol since then I've moved on to other software.

the best program that i know of like that is Reason.

you can find it through torrents, and there are tons of online tutorials for it as well.

if you wanna stick with FL there are most likely online tutorials for that as well.
