I was watching a movie last night when I saw a building blow up. The shockwave of the blast shatters the windshields just before the debris showered onto cars.

Assuming this actually happened, what would happen with the insurance company? Would your premiums go up? Could you actually be considered at fault for the damage? And so on.

you can be sure that they will find a way to not pay it...look at all the people in BC this summer that lost everything

If the building was blown up due to terrorist activities, then no. Your car is not covered for "terrorist events / circumstances".

Really? So if a building blew up and my car got FUBAR'd then I'd have to pay for it?

They'd probably call it an act of god, like lightning, and not cover it. A$$holes...
