Was just wondering what everyone else thinks of these people?
IMO i think they are pretty stupid. They set up disgusting posters of young children dead from the holocaust and such and compare it to abortion saying "they had no choice".
I'm all for freedom of speech, but when you start comparing ridiculous things and putting pictures like that around, thats when it crosses the line for me by straying away from the meaning.

Any other opinions?

They are outspoken Christians (religious conservatives) fighting about their moral issues. They are not necessarily stupid, just blindly committed and indoctrinated.

One can also argue that overpopulation is a greater threat than abortion.

History has shown us clearly how dangerous religion can be.

She either:
A) Figures she needs to do this if she wants to go to heaven.
B) She's got some serious baby daddy issues.

when people do this "shock value" protesting it always seems to be the case that whatever it is that they are on about is completely lost in the obscenity of what they are doing to get the attention in the first place.

ie: they cut off their nose to spite their face.

this particular issue makes me laugh, nothing that this group does will change anyone's opinion on the topic, they just make themselves look bad.

all lot of people i've talked to over the years are a lot like me on the abortion issue, and that is that the argument isn't really about weather or not a fetus is alive or the rights of the unborn, it's really all about a womans right to choose what goes on in her own body. and those uncomfortable pictures have absolutely nothing to do with that.

does an orphanage or adoption group ever accompany these kinds of protests?

seems pretty dumb that you would bitch at women for having abortions then not provide them with a solution for an unwanted baby instead of an unwanted embryo.

i just looked at the picture posted above and didn't realize that 3 embryos could fit on a nickel.

Nevertheless, can't look more primitive than protesting abortion.
