wow crazy race... It didn't really matter that Button started way back. All the crashing and retirements almost guaranteed that he was gonna finish in the points. Lucky like the commentators were saying but he had a good drive anyway.

Button made some good passes today. He should've been driving like this all year instead of for only 8 races.

I noticed Brawn pulled the fuel rig out right away too. But they probably did for fear of having no engines for next year.

The pool is sure taking its sweet ass time to update.
I cant wait to see how little points I got !

Congrats to Button, I bet the aribs are pissed though.
His first laps were very exciting, ya if he drove like this more often he could have wrapped the the title earlier.

Alonso looked like he has had enough with Renault, he didn't even look to upset after being hit.

How did Kovalainen's incident get cleared when Massa got a stop and go?

10-18-2009, 02:46 PM
Fantastic race!

Does anyone know the results of the stewards' investigation of the Trulli-Sutil crash?

Trulli's trackside rant was hilarious.

10-18-2009, 02:54 PM
no penalty for Sutil-Trulli or Kovalainen

I think if anything, Trulli's move was dangerous and should've been penalized, and so should Kovalainen for unsafe release or whatever Massa got penalized for.

Awesome race by Button, and Brawn in general. Hope Barrichello isn't too pissed, he was an integral part of the constructors championship.

I'm glad Sutil isn't getting penalized, Trulli was a complete dick about it. I seriously thought he was gonna swing at him hahaha

It didn't get cleared. McLaren fined, +25s stop and go penalty applied after the race.

The McLaren team has been fined $50,000 for the Brazilian Grand Prix incident that triggered a fire in the pitlane.

Heikki Kovalainen left the pits before the fuel hose was detached from his car and the fuel spilt sprayed Kimi Raikkonen's Ferrari and caused a fire in the pitlane.

The stewards deemed Kovalainen's release had been unsafe and fined the team, also giving the driver a 25-second penalty that dropped him from ninth to 12th.

Took so long for the penalty, my guess is the FIA wanted to make sure the incident wasn't a championship decider.

Oh, and Trulli DID get penalized. $10k fine for off track behavior!

yeah, I saw both those articles a couple hours after.

Is Turn 1 at Interlagos the most exciting corner on the F1 circuit or what?

The pool is taking forever to update today.... WTF... must be waiting for all the penalties to get sorted.

10-19-2009, 03:15 AM
Pools updated... could be anyone's game come the final race (especially between 2nd and 3rd!)

10-19-2009, 09:56 AM

Look like he took some chances with the weather (ie. picked for a dry race).

Paid off pretty well...

It's going to be close for 7th too.
Mibz could take over 7th, and unless rage forgets his picks, I don't think anyone will be taking over 6th.

10-19-2009, 10:51 PM
what kind of an idiot forgets their picks?

10-19-2009, 10:54 PM
haha you tell me

Well considering the point difference between buh_buh and I despite both of us missing a race, I'd say he's doing pretty fucking well.

My only goal now is to beat ryanallan.
