3.0.1, as far as I know, it can be unlocked.

Last I read, both can be jailbroken, but 3.1 can't be unlocked yet...

Than again, I'm more of a WinMo person, so I don't know much about iPhones.

yup. both 3.1 and 3.1.2 can be JB'd via Blackra1n or Pwnage tool. but they can not be unlocked yet. and nobody knows when the solution will come out.

3.1 you can keep your unlock if you upgrade with custom firmware without updating the baseband. DO NOT USE ITUNES!

If your phone was not jailbroken prior to 3.1, you cannot unlock yet. Hope this helps.

This iPhone is unmolested... I'll leave it to buyer to JB/unlock/update firmware

Getting lots of offers for $580 on Kijiji, but I'd prefer to sell to someone who has a good reputation / feedback on Beyond.

I think the scratch is on the back of the phone not on the screen, but don't buy it because I want it, haha.
