Does anyone know of any Japanese restaurants that sell Yuba? Most have Agadashi Tofu but I have been craving Yuba since we came home from Japan and have never seen it here. Soooooo good. I know you can make it yourself at home too but not sure how well it would turn out.

Apparently no Yuba for me. In case it helps me find it, I believe it is the skin that forms on the water when soy milk is heated (I have also heard that it is the skin that forms on the top of the pot when tofu is made.) However it has more texture and is more flavorful than tofu.

Had it in Japan mixed with prawns and cream cheese, lightly battered in tempura and fried........ Also had it plain (which is usually served cold in a light broth) however I enjoyed it warmed up in miso soup.
