Hello Fellow Beyonders

I have ordered quite a few things in the past few days and have had them forwarded to the Sweet grass Parcel storage address. As such I will be taking a trip down there to collect my purchased goods in about 2 weeks time. out of convenience for everyone else I am offering a parts/merchandise shuttling service, for a one time event

Here is your chance to beat the UPS/Fed-Ex fees

I am offering fellow beyonders a parcel pick up service.

How this works is

If you are looking to purchase high dollar mods for your car, have them sent to

"Your name & my name"
C/O Border Storage
118 Bank St
Sweet Grass MT
59484

Then I will need you to give me a copy of your online purchase receipt

Border Storage charges 5 dollar charge per box, along with that will be the 6% tax on purchased goods.

so say you buy $100.00 brakes pads on top of that will be $5.00 + $6.00(6% gst) I will charge you a $15 delivery charge per person regardless of size, weight, # of boxes or cost.

grand total 26.00

This is a super deal considering most online shops now offer free shipping in the USA.

I will then take your money for GST and transport fees with me, drive down to Sweet Grass recover you packages and deliver them to you. drop off will probably one centralized location so as to not be driving around the city aimlessly finding peoples address.

i will start a list here of people who are interested in this service and will give everyone a time and date to order your merchandise so that it all arrives at or about the same time.

Finally depending on interest and demand space may be limited,

any questions please post.

I can vouch for him. Very honest and stand up guy:thumbsup: If I knew what's going to happen to my Accord id order some parts but I don't know if it's getting written off or not :(

You sure size isnt that big of a problem? Seats, wheels, tires, etc are okay with you? I would most likely order some things soon if thats the case.

Thanks

yeah size is okay, if there is tons of interest I can rent a big u-haul for the day and truck everything like that. as of right now though I have a cargo van that would be making the trip

And thanks for the support G-ZUS ;)

Rick I was just looking for something like this!
My parcel will be 2 weeks out though. Is there a fee per day the parcel is there? Or how long can it be there before it's picked up? It'll be a relatively heavy and big box. Perhaps a couple.

Pm me more info if you can!

Thanks!

I think it's super nice of you to offer this service, but personally I wouldn't be prepared to transport some random person's "package" over an international border. At a minimum, you might want to consider opening the boxes in Sweetgrass to make sure they're not full of anything that you wouldn't want in your possession.

Years ago a friend of mine with a credit card agreed to pay some shipping and accept some packages from a friend of his without a card. Long story short, my friend ended up with a criminal record when it turned out his "friend" was shipping stolen property up from the US in some kind of credit card scam. My friend didn't know anything about it, but did handle some of the boxes and was paid a premium for handling the fees and stuff, so they nailed him as a participant.

Just a caution.

Why are you selling our forum short? The regulars on this site are a bunch of honest, car loving people. Thanks for taking the positiveness out of this thread.

There's a huge difference between transporting some ones random package and a verified internet order delivered to a holding storage address with an accompanying receipt.

I appreciate your concern, but I am not about to just let Joe McCriminal hand me a personal package on the other side of the border.

You know, I really did consider the "negativity" thing before posting, because it's a really nice gesture by Rick here, and I applaud it. But it seems appropriate to give a heads-up to a nice guy that he might want to watch his back. If he met somebody through this thread with less-than-stellar intentions, and got into trouble at the border, I'd feel bad.

My friend only got nailed as an accessory to fraud, which still screwed him up for years and cost him a promotion in his job (he had to turn down a transfer to the US and pay raise, and wait several years for a pardon). But if Rick got snookered into bringing in drugs, or child porn, or something equivalent?...

Damn I want to order a whole bunch of stuff for my car from Enjuku racing, but the amount of money to get it over the border will kill me.

Wow,

This is awesome, you could probably make a small side business doing this. I know I don't mind paying.

Hmm I might do this but if I don't purchase anything now do you think you'll be doing this again in the future? I need to save up some funds

there is a slight chance that I will be offering this again in six months or so. It's looking like the only time is going to be this one, for me anyway.

when you guys are ready just PM me so I can add your names to the list. Also tires will get charged the regular disposal and environmental fees at the border as well those have yet to be determined.

sorry guys my parts are on back order till about mid december.
If you guys are willing to wait or planning to get some around that time then I can definitely make a new post then.

If you guys can get a group of more than 10 people then I would go just for your sake, this many people would just be covering the fuel cost to go and come back...
