Very elaborate car and reasonably priced, chrysler is releasing 25 models in the next 3 years many of them have strong benz infuences. You should see the chrysler 300C

It is a pretty great engine.. all but identical (minus the pointed star) to the SLK320 powerplant.

Some people could say that about the engine in the specv , the 3.2L V6 has such a nice power band:) and an amazing sound to it

Yea, the SLK 320 has one of the best sounding exhaust notes for a Benz. It sounds better than the muffled sounds of the SLK 32 AMG. I still prefer the 320's sound.

Again, friend at Crowfoot dodge was working on one. Apparently it has no spare tire, just a bottle of tire sealant incased in a foam & cardboard wheel well..

Are they around $ 45,000 ??

1997 or 1998 ?

I think right after the ML 320 came out .... and since then .. Benz qulity is keep falling ... ( and Chrysler qulity is getting better ? )

Oh no .. the Crossfire is actually $ 51,000 plus tax ! I can't believe it ! but they probaby offer low interest rate too ! :D

Oh no doubt. But the spec v is a 4 door econo box. It's not expected to perform like a sports car. While the Crossfire clearly is.

Yah man dont get me wrong I love the spec and that nice torquey 4cyl, the crossfire isnt really supposed to be a hardcore sports car. Its a comfortable decently powerful hardtop convertible.

One of the main attractions to chrysler over Benz are the competitive finance rates. O% on finance accounts..thats free money!

The crossfire is not a sports car. It's a high end luxury coupe. It's marketed that way too.

I wonder what the Mopar meet in Red Deer is gonna start being like... Booger, Clay and Cletus, hobbnobbing with Bernhard, Dieter and Gunter, then settling with out for an afternoon of benchracing a SLk against a Hemi roadrunner...Funtimes... The only thing they have in common, is that both groups probably use a bowl to cut their hair...
Chrysler died for me, when DB got involved...Letting Bob Lutz go was a major mistake...
And whats up with Zetsche.... The guy looks like the lead horn blower of a oompah band, not a ceo...
Ok back to the car...mm... don't like it...Max
