Mazda BT50

So a little birdie told me that Mazda is bring over the BT50 in a couple of weeks. The only info I could find on this was UK / AUS based. It looks like a 1/2 ton truck with a diesel engine. Does anyone know anything about this?

Looks like the thai based Ford Ranger... 2.5 turbodiesel, neat truck. Seeing how the current Ranger will continue in its current state till 2011, but the b series mazdas (ranger clone) have been discontinued, it would make sense for Mazda to bring in the 'other' ranger
