Yeah, I been chasing around leaks and replacement parts. Everything takes so long because it comes out of the UK, but I beat the dealer price by about 1000%, including shipping.

I got one axle seal to do (installed it by accident backwards) and I'd like to hit up maclean at least one more time. The problem is finding good guys to go out with (that arnt 1 make biased). You should let me know the next time you go and I'll see if I can make it. She needs a good shakedown.

My old Sportage... Surprisingly a decent offroad pig! Cheap, reliable, solid frame, 4low transfer case etc... With a 2.5 inch suspension lift 31's fit no problem and clearance is excellent. I bagged the shit out of this thing for 100k and never broke once. Sold it to a buddy who drove it for quite a while without issues and it is on it's third owner now still going hard...

Wish I had some better pics because people would be surprised how aggressively this thing worked...

I'm on the fence with the Toyo OC M/Ts, Goodyear Wrangler MT/R w/Kevlar, or another set of BFG Mall Terrains well see, probably going with the Goodyears.

2009 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X.

Bilstein Suspension, Locking diff. Hill Descent Control 265/75/16 BFG Rugged Trail T/A tires. Pretty cool little Fosgate set up from the factory. Buetooth.

I picked it up in February of this year. It still hasn't been offroad outside of Moose Mtn Road. Which is hardly offroad. She sure is fun in the snow though. Tow strap always ready.

Hopefully this coming spring we can get some Beyond Off road events going. I would be in the basic trail class I am sure, but it would be good to pick the brains of Beyonds more experienced wheelers.

Do tell. it is called a pinion brake that one rotor is the brakes for the front wheels there is one on the rear diff to. it works by stoping all drive in the axle stoping the wheels.

A pinion brake can be small it uses the gear reduction in the diff to add extra force for the wheels. just like you use lower gears to turn bigger tires this uses the gears to stop the tires.

Yeah I have a modded 180SX as my daily driver, and a truck for bad conditions now.

I like wiaprous in the winter. My truck rides nice and smooth on the snow. Its f---ing brutal in the summer on some of the more rocky trails.

Hopefully, my ARB should be in tomorrow.

I've had mine over 2 years. I've had ZERO issues, other than faults caused by my own doing.

Like I say to everyone, its only reliable if you take care of it - just like anything.

In fact, Im looking at adding to my collection of land rovers next week.

Welcome to the ARB crew! Your plastic dress up caps are on upside down and on the wrong sides :D

Belive it or not, they arn't even the right ones. they are suposed to be square on this bumper. I could have easily changed them but I think they look better that way.

Looks good, I spy a winch in there too... it came with the ARB setup?

If he bought used it might have, otherwise no. It does look very good on the Rover:) Mine didn't come with the plastic dress up things though:dunno:

Bumper is brand new, the winch is my trusty old XD9000i I've carted for about 3 trucks now.

I got it all finished now, and yes vick, I switched the buffers around. Probably get some IPF lights in the new year, probably some 868's.

I could have had my choice of crazy competition bumpers with insane approach angles, but I've wanted an ARB for a VERY long time, so it was about time I got one.

that "better" picture would be better if you were inside the truck in the drivers seat between those 2 chicks staring out haha.

Wow, there's some really nice off-roaders here... My mods are minimal and I try not to abuse my truck too much, I keep a tow strap in my truck to help with recovery of vehicles that rely on spark plugs :D

Nice pic with the Hummer , btw... Picking up skanks and an overpriced latte is about all those are good for lol!

Now I am not much into off-roading but since I've seen this truck i've been wanting to get it and go mental on the most fucked up roads

I know it was in that polar ice special. Each tire alone was like 10k pounds or something:eek:

First photo is after I got the Toyo AT's (35x10.5 or something). Dont think I will go quite that big again. Probably 33x10.5 on the next ones. Still beats the stock 32x8 that I took out to McLean creek. 3" level front, 1.5" rear blocks plus tires now.

Next photos are Unknown303 and I out in the bush the first weekend I had my truck.

Pounds being the UK's currency, of course. His estimate was a bit off, the tires were $5,000 each. (2500 pounds)
