WTB 96-2000 Civic SI / Acura EL Motor

posting for a friend needs an engine for a 2000 Honda Civic SI

-96-98 civic SI will work with some changes wires/ parts to make it work for the 99-2000, but not exactly know what is different?
-99-2000 civic SI
-97-2000 Acura EL

99-00 is obd2b
96-98 is obd2a

i have a d16y8 single cam vtec motor out of a 99 si that could use a rebuild, it was running when pulled so its not seized or anything. ill do 150 with a tranny that needs a new clutch fork(steel it off his old tranny if needed) ill include the y8 intake manifold which is the biggest of the d-series.
