some decks dont come with this as a feature...

i bought an panasonic MP3 deck a couple months ago and put in subs.....(2* 1000watt subs powered by 600watt thump brand amp)

at first i thought it was my amp was shitty, but then i tried my friends amp which was a really nice and powerful one, and it still sounded like i had mine in:dunno:

so now i found the problem but no solution......

-i have no "sub level control" on my deck

what should i do?????

btw:dont suggest new deck

You can probaby adjust the "level" button from your AMP ?

Buy an active crossover. That's what the "sub level out" in your deck is, an active crossover that just feeds low pass output to your amp that powers your subs.

get a line driver

its amplifies the voltage from your sub outs
it gives you a lot more power
and its a lot easier on your cars electrical system

Can you just turn up the gain on your amp?
Or turn up the bass on your deck.

get a electronic crossover. Mine is a rockfordfosgate one i can run 3 amps of just one crossover. This will let you control the frequency of sound you pick up letting higher bass tones come through. It makes all the difference in the world. I had the same problem when i first got subs.

Fucking noobs, don't just turn up the gain for more "volume" Christ, this is how you blow amps & subs! Set the gain, matching the preout voltage of the deck. Increasing the gain will not make more watts. Try adjusting your crossover point. Or get new gear.
