Music help: Popular RnB thats in bars

Hi.

This is lame. Lets start by saying i AM cool, i just don't listen to this type of music. I like indie rock and metal.

That said, my GF does not, and it's her surprise b-day party coming up which i'm throwing.

Here's what i need help with.... a playlist.

I need to find some music that's popular (please put elitist tastes away, if you know something REALLY cool, that would fit, let me know). I just don't know what's cool, and if its something i DO know, it's probably from last year and i've picked it up over a year's worth of osmosis.

She likes stuff like Rihanna, lady gaga, Jay-z. things like this.

Can you please help me out by listing some tracks that would be good to get? or popular re-mixes?
