View Full Version : remote car starter lights flash here clicking noise but does not turn over

hey i've been reading posts and you guys sound smart.
I have a 97 chrysler cirrus witha viper command start not the alarm just a command start i dont know the model number the switch under the dash is on. I hold the 2 buttons down to start the car the lights come on there is a click but the engine does not turn over. then it repeats the process a couple more times to no avail.
as i said i dont know the model # but it is a fricken old remote my e-mail is

no nice try its a new battery please dont take the easy way out. car starts fine with the key so its not the battery

well you didn't say it started fine with the key.
Click and engine not turning over usually = battery.

i said i am having a problem with the remote start not the battery i figured you could put 2 and 2 together all the info is there if you know how to read

rest your alarm:dunno: should be under the dash but your going to have to reprogram your remote

Put it in park (or neutral - std)

unplug the battery cable or unplug the command start box it self?
and then google for reprograming the remote :dunno:
