Hi, I prefer $500 . Because this is an brand new 6500k HID Conversion Kit .But,if any one serious about this, make me an offer. the kit includes two ballasts and two bulbs and all the wires you need to install this Kit .

I have an H1 which is for like Rsx , an H7 which is for like mazda mp3 or toyota celica and an H4 (Hi/Low Beam) is for like civic . Also, an 9006 which is for like an 96 Prelude .but the 9006 is sold already .

which kit is it and are they brand new or used? Who are the bulbs and ballasta made by and is there a warrenty on anything?

What color does 6500k produce?

It is called BrightStar HID conversion Kit . It is Brand New , not used. well yes , after you buy it and use it right ,within 8 month there is a warrenty .

i thought kits were car specific becuase there is a harness that seats the hid into your stock light housing??

they are 'light type' specific. Your civic is H4 I believe so you use a H4 kit. Other cars could use H4 also and the same kit could be used.

which bulb does the hid replace? high beam seems logical, but i heard it is the low beam? and is bulb size the only thing that matters?

depends on the kit i believe. some kits are hi/low beam, but some are only low beam meaning you can't use your highbeams i think. It wouldn't mean much for me since only one of my highbeams work! :banghead:

I know my low beam is a H1, and high beam is a 6500k. I guess HIDs replace the low beam, cause you see HIDs around town...both would be too expensive Id think?

BESIDES bulb size, is there any requirement for compatibility? If the HID is an H1 and my bulb is H1, is it guaranteed to work?

I don't think you lose DRL's, but most people disable them so you save the life of your HID's.

Other things for compatability would be space to mount everything.

For all that stuff search through an impreza forum for more detailed info...it should all be there.

yeah I think I found all the answers im looking for in some way or another. my high beams are a seperate bulb, so i assume id keep their functionality. every oem hid car i saw on the way to work in the day had the hids on, so they just run as DRL i guess.

shih, you willing to go lower on the H1 kit?

also, do these have a warranty?

are they new or used?
