The Academy of Motion Pictures has the Oscars. The music industry has the Grammy's. TV has the Emmy's. Beyond has... well, this thread.
Basically, I thought it would be a good idea to consolidate all the best, brightest, etc music, movies, tv shows, books, pretty much everything of 2009, into one thread.
All I would suggest is using a template sort of like this:
Type: (movie, music, book, tv, etc)
Genre: (for music: country, trance, rap, rock, metal, et al)
Item: (for music: Artist here, track here, maybe youtube link)
Comments why: (if you feel like it)
Go at it like a pack of rabid squirrels, beyond! :D
