just a question of curiosity... since the exhaust is side mounted, how hot does that side skirt get? curious to whenever you get out of the car in shorts or a skirt can you burn your leg on the side?

it depends on the year of the car. they had a problem with the sill getting too hot in older models but the new hardtop viper (08 + like in the pic) doesn't get that hot at all. there is a warning sticker on the sill but there are warning stickers on everything these days. my friend drove his back from Arizona in two days and says that he didn't even notice the heat.

I noticed that too, there's also another mark on the front bumper.
