FS: Canon 24-70L F/2.8 USM *SOLD*

I'm selling my 24-70L.

I hardly use it. I'm the first owner. Bought locally at a store here in Edmonton. (McBain Camera)

It looks like many people lately have been selling their 24-70L lenses for $1200.

So I will price mine lower at $1000 shipped within Canada via Interac email transfer. Extra for shipping out of country or paypal.

The reason being, it is one of the many copies that exhibits a focusing anomaly at 24mm. I honestly believe this problem is very common on all 24-70's across the board.

I've tried out *MANY* 24-70L copies that the owners claim is *perfect*. But when I try theirs out, I can show them that theirs has the exact same focusing anomaly as the 5 other copies of this lens that I've owned in the quest for a perfect one. I just know where the weakness of this lens is.

So, although I am VERY confident this lens is just as good as just about all the other 24-70L units for sale, I cannot in good conscience sell it at the going price for a "perfect" copy. Which is why I've knocked $200 off the price.

8. Reason I'm selling... I'm more than well covered for normal range zooms. And the 24-70L is the LEAST used out of these four.
