I'm studing for a test tonight and I'm stuck on a question. Maybe you can help explain how I do this.

Given h(x)= x/(x-1) and k(x)= 1/(x^2)

simplify h o k and k o h.

ok... here goes...

h o k = (1 / (x^2) ) / ( 1 / (x^2) ) = 1 / ( 1 - x^2)

k o h = 1 / ( x / (x-1) )^2 = (x^2 - 2x +1) / x^2 = 1 - (2/x) + (1/x^2)

hope that helps.. you're talking about h circle k right in calculus?

its just "h of k" and "k of h", just functions

 I barely made it out of Math 30 alive... Someone please tell me why I am taking Calculus in an Engineering Course?!?!
Sad thing is that now that I am being taught well, I am not doing all that bad!
