Alright, well i have been helping my mom to get the heat working in her 98 windstar. Problem is Ive changed the thermostat and i just took a look at the Blend Door Actuator and it is fine, can anyone else think of a reason the heat could still be not working or should i assume the heater core has had it? :dunno:

It could be many things actually. Since you already changed the thermostat, there are these other things to rule out first.

1) Air lock
2) Heater core
3) HVAC control (I think Ford uses flimsy vacuum lines in most models)
4) Water pump

I would diagnose in that order. Most common problems are air lock and plugged up heater core. A failed water pump would usually cause overheating so if it's not overheating and the coolant is flowing good then water pump should be fine. Check heater core flow or get a "back flush" done to the heater core at a shop and see if that helps.
