hey all,

planning to store the car for the winter and the general consensus is that putting some fuel additives and topping up the tank would be a good idea

anyone have any preferred kinds? would i be able to just pick it up at canadian tire?

if you cant really go wrong with any type/brand than nevermind but is there any particular ones you guys would recommend or stick with??

anyhow thanks :D

Any fuel stabilizer will do, just make sure you give the car a run after adding it/fueling so it gets mixed, and into the fuel lines.

You dont really need any fuel stabilizer if your storing the car for less than 6 months really with today's fuels.

However, if you insist Crappy Tire sells the Sta-bil brand of stabilizer.

None - I was goign to use Stabil but then read about how it can leave a white gunk behind in carbs.

I figured my dad never used and fuel stabilizer to store stuff, I've never in the past, so I won't start.
