Impact sets for a Gift

I want to buy an Air Tools Impact Socket Set fora friend and I have a few question

1- Is Canadian Tire good enough? They have some specials actually(last day, tomorrow)

2- SAE or Metric???

He have a Ford Escape 2006

I've been using Canadian Tire tools (sockets, impacts) for years, no shatters, nothing... This is medium-duty business use (i.e. I'm not a mechanic, but my line of work require tools to be used daily as well)

Thanks, I think the best is to buy a kit with both SAE and Metrics
