I have the Sony PRS-300. Absolutely love it. Cheapest on the market and widest support of files.

my girlfriend has the sony one. she loves it, has like 100 books on it. it is a great gift idea and is quite versatile

I need to buy one of these as a Christmas gift as well, but I know nothing about them.

I've heard that the Amazon Kindle ones have more books to choose from, but the Sony is better hardware. Can you just download a bunch of books like you can songs/movies?

Is touch screen that much better or are the hard buttons just fine?

Anyways I've just started doing my own research but I'd like to hear more from owners. Thanks!
