I got mine done a few years ago at Tattoo Town on 3rd ave. But I'm not even sure if it's still there. Plus I do know the guy who did mine doesn't even live in Lethbrige anymore.

how big do u want that tattoo?.....looks like there could be quite a bit of detail needed, depending where you do it could cost as much as $500 ( ive had some pretty outrageous qoutes before).if you went to bushido( really good prices and work) im guessing $200-300, if it were slightly larger than your pic.

yup the first is the canadian coat of arms, and the second is the portuguese coat of arms w/ the milita leaves and ribbon

Ive been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while. And all this tattoo talk has confirmed it. i am gonna get one.

What do you guys think about this tattoo. I wanna geta maple leaf about 2 cm tall, 2 cm wide on my middle finger between my nuckle and hand.

I havent seen many tattoos on hands. I think it would look cool, any thoughts?

i dont think thatll go too well, people always see your hands, people shake hands, talk with ther hands, they do everything with theyre hands! just think further down the road when your an old businessman. plus itll hurt like a bitch im guessing.

personally i thin a maple leaf is the gayest thing u can get but thats just me....well me and most tattos artists...most people who get canadain flags are hocky players or rednecks....but then again its your body your choice

I guess I'll post a pic of mine... Dave P, your getting a tattoo cause people on beyond are talking about them? (did I read you correctly?) A maple leaf is pretty boring, I wouldn't go for it. Did you have any other ideas?

yea, i see way to many maple leaves, its way too played out. im proud to be canadian but i dont want a fucking maple leaf to show it, so ive decided on the coat of arms, i havent seen anyone with something close to it plus its alot more meaningful than i ever imagined; check out the link for more info:

The normal maple leaf is pretty common, thats why when i got my canadian flag i tried to make it as original as possible, its an actual flag with a Gold flag pole, with demension so that it looks like its waving in the wind. I also drew the original sketch, nothing hard, but i like the fact that i drew it myself :). Within a few months im going to add to it as well, with some scenary behind it, specific mountains, landmarks etc..., should look pretty unique.

Nah man, i have wanted a tattoo for a while, sorta lost interest, but there have being a few threads on beyond lately about tattoos and it has regained my attention or want for one. I like a maple leaf cause i like what it represents, but it is pretty common. I want to get one on my leg, on my calf specifically. i am starting to did the tribal look, but i have no real artistic talent to plan one out. are there any sites where i can gather some ideas from a few and combine them into one that you know of?

I'm not even close to what I want to be, it's mostly diet and an intense, frequent workout. I'm finding good results by adjusting the load I lift on a regular basis.
