Need some help with auto insurance

I might be buying a car from Lethbridge, but I am unsure how to get the car back to Calgary without having to tow it. I don't have insurance. I was wondering if anyone knows of a temporary insurance one can buy for 1-2 days or so.

I have looked and cannot find anything on this in AB.
I need the insurance to get an 'in transit permit' from the registry.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Why can't you set the policy up here before you go down there?
All you should need is the VIN.

Best to go into a insurance broker for that.
