how can i use laptop to display guages and other things like boost?

honestly, you would install a ram mount in a sport compact to hold a laptop to show you information you could easily get a lot more effectively via gauges? Do you not know how distracting a laptop is when night driving? Police need one to do their job, whole different scenario. Until you get rear ended by one of these people too busy looking at a laptop rather than the road.

And PLX does make a data logger with a real time monitor, but it's more for the serious tuner and costs a lot more than just gauges.

Yah the HKS camp is a cool toy, I used to have the system. I replaced it however with a digital cluster and a higher end EBC. Those both display all the same info the cam does.

Some EMS programs allow you to display the gauges but really it's useless because you want to datalog not see instantaneous data which when you need to see it most, you'll be driving hard. One look over and you'll be the next integra with the tree mod.

but in all seriousness, its super easy with an OBDII scanner (assuming you have a vehicle with the obdII port, ) a kit is like 250$,
