I just picked up an iPhone and wanna get a case for it asap. Was thinking of just going with an invisibleshield/BSE but now I'm not so sure anymore (heard it kinda gives the screen a dull appearance? any comments on this?). What case/film do you guys recommend?

I have the Zagg InvisiShield Full Body, and then I have a clear silicone case I bought from Bestbuy for $20

Thing I dont like is with the silicone case, it collects so much dust/dirt underneath, I gotta take out the phone and clean it out every now and then

The Zagg InvisiShield is pretty good as I've taken keys and scratched the film and it disppears in few hours

Check out gelaskins.com. Very cool 3m type sticker "cases". Protect very well against scratches. And you can't tell there's a sticker over the screen if you put one on

I have this, had it since the iphone came out, still looks like brand new and shiny

Gives it a rubbery feel and can toss it around without any worries. My friend got the invisishield thing and it isn'tholding up nearly as nice as mine is.

I have the skin from "bestskinever" on mine as well and I think its great. Just a word of caution though... you need alot of patience to put it on. Took me about 30 minutes to put on the back piece because of all the curves on the iphone. The corners don't stick on that well and you end up having to sit there and hold them in place for a few minutes to make sure they stick. Might be easier/quicker if you find a spray bottle though because it won't require as much water.

Also, its only 10 bucks total compared to the 30 dollars from bestbuy for the zagg skin. I don't think either will protect your phone if dropped though. It'll only protect it from scratches which it does a really good job at.

Yeah, I never drop stuff so it's scratches I'm worried about. Woulda gone with a BSE but went with invisible shield since they sell it at FS, installation was as mentioned painful haha. Back turned out okay..we'll see how it is tomrorow morning

I have had three cases, each was tossed for various reasons mostly to do with bad design of the case. The cases ranged from $25 to $52.

Now I simply have a screen protector, basically 3M. Besides I like the feel of a "raw" phone.

Inocase slider end thread. Its a hard case and not huge. Best iphone case I have ever used

I use a speck candyshell with an invishield on the screen. Makes it a bit bigger but the protection is great.

I use the Zagg Invisible shield. It was the most annoying thing EVER to put on, and took 1+ weeks for the air bubbles to completely disappear, but its well worth it now. The only thing is that it doesn't really offer any protection to shock, if you dropped it or whatever. I especially like how the protective film on the home button makes it even easier to use/press.

I hate silicon cases because I keep my phone in my pocket, and not only does it not fall nicely into the pocket, but collects every bit of lint, dust, etc. that may be inside your pocket or whatever surface you put it down on. It also collects a bunch of crap under the silicon case itself.

I have one from zcover, it's a rubber case and a screen protector.
A little big but it takes a beating
my last case (can't remember the name) was a hard plastic shell which broke after a few falls.

I use a Plastic Case (http://www.uxsight.com/category/168535/iphone2g-plastic-cases.html), it makes my iphone have a clear screen, and i bought a transparent film for it. Maybe you can refer my way. :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

The iPhone would be unusable for me if it wasn't for the Mophie Juicepack Air.. there is a similar product from InCase, but it isn't as good.

Roughly triple the battery life and a decent case make it a very good deal.

Two piece skin:

Best case EVER. It's durable and pretty strong, takes impact pretty good.

I think any overly protruding case takes away from the elegant design of the iphone

just a simple transparent case for the bottom + a matte screen protector. sooooooooooo clean

the metallic covers along with the thousand dollar dragon gangster engravings from japan are pretty snazzy too:poosie:

Check ebay man.
There are sooooo many different ones to choose, plus if you're lucky you can get free shipping too.

I bought this one for my iphone and i love it, it doesnt have a screen protector but it is definitely worth the $1.25 that I paid for it.

InCase Slider + Power Support anti-glare film.

Mophie would be my choice if I spent as much time on my iPhone as E36M3

I'm using an el cheapo Cellet ProGuard case right now. I got it right after the 2G just came out so there wasn't a lot of choices for hard cases. When my phone was run over by a car and survived, sans hard case, it was a no brainer for me to get another one. I had a hard time finding another one on eBay, but I lucked out when I went to Vegas cause they were all over the strip. :burnout:
