Not really pussifiaction, IMO. Lowe's comments were fairly accurate, McIver should't have said that hehopes his own company loses a lawsuit. That doesn't mean he is retracting he support for teh continuation of RC's lease.

Actually, Lowe's comments were either deliberately misleading or the man is incredibly un-informed.

There is nothing wrong with a alderman or a member of a corporate board saying they hope they will get sued & lose if the corporation/city is in the moral & legal wrong as they are in this case.

A corporate officer is still responsible to the law & public morality especially if his boss(ie CEO or Mayor) is breaking the laws.
