So, during rush-hour of all times, Chrowchild SB was bumper-to-bumper stalled from 33rd Ave all the way past the University due to a serious accident...

Finally made a huge loop detour when I was able to take an exit before 33rd, saw the scene though, like 20 or so police/ambulances on hand. Anybody see/know exactly what happened?

Hope everyone is OK in the crash of course, but wow...being stuck for a good hour and a half is frustrating! Especially during rush hour. :(

threw me off...

Hope everyone was alright.

i drove NB and saw all the commotion. They stopped traffic, presumably while the reconstruction team worked... Felt pretty sorry for anybody trying to travel SB

Think it happened closer to around 5 (the actual accident), traffic was still bad until around 8pm...

What sucks is I don't normally need to go south at all, but I had to drop something off going home...well, lucky me! Delayed by 1.5 hours on the SAME day out of 100 that I actually need to head south haha.

This was just one day. Northbound is grid locked everyday passed 33rd. Those 3 traffic lights past Kensington really fuck things up especially when you got 3 lanes merging into one.

I was going North bound. Me and my buddy figured someone died. South bound was completely shut right down. The funny part is north bound was free and clear but top speeds were 30kph.

Driver of a malibu had a medical condition causing him to ram "heavily" into the back of a F150 which then hit a CRV. He died :(
