WTB: winter tires

i need 4 winter tires and rims to go onto my lancer, looking to spend around 400$ or less, roads are getting shitty

What's the smallest wheel size that fits the lancers? $400 w/wheels might be pushing it for winter...

400 is too little for a new set but some used steelies and used winter tires (ones with at least 2 seasons left on them) could be had for around there.

You might get lucky, however. I've seen 14" winter tires for $320 brand new, installed and with tax. That leaves you with around 80 dollars for winter steelies, and I think Walmart has 14" steelies for about 20-25/piece.

For $ 400 budget .. try wart-mart ! they r cheap ! and I heard their snow tires are not bad .. :)
$ 40 for 14' steel wheel, and $ 60 for 14" snow tires ( and made in Canada ! :thumbsup: )

So.. just over $ 400 with taxes and fee ..

Just not sure if their steel wheels will fit Lancer.

My buddy just bought 4 tires and steelies for his Ranger, cost him about $600 at Canadian Tire. It would probably be less for a Lancer though.
