View Full Version : Whats a good grad gift?

hey guys, my girlfriend is finishing her last semester next month and since its also christmas i was thinking getting something really special or i could always get a seperate grad gift and also a christmas gift

i was thinking maybe a bracelet with an engraving of some sort on it but i was wondering if there are some other nice ideas out there?? :confused:

anyways much appreciated :)

I think you are on the right track. I'd go for a watch / bracelet with an engraving like "UofC 2009" or something with a heart on it. Engraving is like $20 or so. Guess has some really nice watches that are not too expensive ($150 and under).

Something like "10 habits of successful people" or the like. (and a few other things obviously)

I think that would be really helpful. Looking back: I sure wish I had invaluble books such as (that type) when exiting school.

I know it may sound corny, but its long term effects can be immeasurable. :dunno:

8 years ago my girlfriend got me a stupid bracelet for grad. I lost it a few weeks later. moral of the story, dont waste your money on a bracelet. buy a french tickler condom instead

it changed my life. That was 4 years ago. Today I own one of the largest reno companies in calgary. In part, because of that book. it works. Like someone said above. fuck the necklace or bracelet idea. Go for a really nice dinner and give her the book.
