thats the problem with busy used parts.
it was unprofessional on your part going to his work.
you paid for them, i really doubt you`ll get your money back.
your best bet is to just find out what car they actually are for and put them up for sale.
It happens. Next time buy new from a company to ensure its the right ones you`re getting.

I purchased rims thinking they would fit my car, guess what, offset wasnt enough so they didnt. Am I asking for my money back? No. I have them up for sale. Its the way it is.

What is he going to do, call the CPS and say "yeah so uh, this guy i ripped off wont leave me alone because he wants his money back, i'd like you to do something about it." the guy is obviously a giant vagina for even threatening to call the police because you showed up at his work... lol what a baby

if he refuses to give you a refund, show up at his work again, and this time with some of your friends.

Get under your friggin car, get a wrench, and find out if they fit. Simple.

I sent an email to Megan giving them the part number of the coilovers I had bought asking them if it would fit on an RSX. They told me they don't.

Sorry man but next time do your homework and find out if they fit or not. You can't rely on the seller. Live and learn:) I've bought lots of parts over the years that sucked, didnt fit, hated.. welcome to modding a car. :)

If you are a student, and are worried about the money, I would have probably done more research in the first place. Maybe he just didnt know any better. Also the megan racing website shows the rsx coilovers for the 02-05 civic si :dunno:

I'm not absolutely positive but I think you can make it fit with a little modification to your setup. I've read it on ephatch and clubrsx.. I'm too lazy to look though

I can't believe anybody would put Megan stuff on their car, especialyl suspension components.

I remember their stuff (exhaust) was absolute junk on G35s several years ago

I must say walking into the guys work like that is extremely rude of you.
Instead of jumping to conclusions, at least make an effort to physically see if they will fit first.

if you don't understand how a set of coils may fit more than one car, do your homework. as someone posted before: lesson learnt. same poster was also right to say welcome to the modding world... countless hours and $$ will be thrown down the drain one way or another.

find a buddy who knows how to work on cars and try slapping those coils on your car.. they should fit.
