any z32 guys out there, im just wanting to know anyone else is my community who owns a USDM 300zx .. i live up in the North West Panorama', just looking for some guidance and wisdom from some of the long term owners of these cars.. i been working on mine the past 6 months but don't have info help around town looking for parts.. dont know where to go sometimes or how to do certain things . other then that its been pretty smooth sailing while modding .. if anyone wants to meet up, chill out, work on the cars definitely give me a shout , this winter will be a busy one in the garage.

thanks

Why do they have to own a North American market Z32? Believe it or not, the JDM version is stunningly similar.

I could tell you all the great sites I get parts from or the great forums and sites I get information from, but I don't own a North American Z32.

He said USDM, so if you have a Canadian car you're still not cool enough.

I could help, but I live in medicine hat, and have a RHD as well...i know these cars inside and out...There is nothing that I haven't changed/ worked on...from TT swaps to dash swaps, 5-spd swap, diff swap, solid bushing installs, coilovers, and anything else that can be unbolted/unwelded ;)

my current setup makes 540whp, and my winter project will be 900whp on boost alone(pump gas), and to hope to crack the 1200whp with c16 and nitrous....

two t64's will help with that ;)

top mount though of course lol

Nice nice, sorry guys no discrimination here ,, i was just saying usdm because of the rarity of usdm in canada , generally people with the usdm have had them long since .. but JDM usdm all the same to me .. just love these dam cars.. its my dream car and i finally have it .. ill stay in touch with you guys by pm for more info

replace upper control arm if u heard a sound like a rubber noise on dash board

replace spark plugs and fuel filter if u heard rattle and some cases camshaft sensor need to replaces..

replacing the PCV hose is hard one esp. at the right side cause u don't have enough a space to pull out those hard thick hose so what u gonna do cut it with cutter . u can get aftermarket hose at auto value and make sure the PCV valve will exactly fit to the hose. u can still use the old clip hose

You probably already know this, but twinturbo.net is a great site with all the info you'll need. Check out the FAQ and TECH section, there are write-ups for just about anything you can think of.

This thread in particular helped me out a lot when i first got my Z in 2006. (pics are gone now)

I like www.300zxclub.com
they aren't as stuck up and annoying as tt.net. tt.net reminds me a lot of beyond. I only use tt.net for the tech faq writeups as they are pretty good. But 3zc has basically all of the same guides all of the same quality. I check both but post on 3zc.

I have a USDM Z and feel the same way about rhds. I live faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away from pano hills though that is like the north fuckin pole

ah man you know you don't have to pull the plenum to do the plugs right....? Ouch.

My plenum is off right now to replace gaskets, clean connectors, replace injector o-rings and do as many deletes and bypasses as possible. Make sure with the plenum off you bypass the throttle body water hoses and delete all that shit. Quick, easy, makes pulling the plenum easier, and it costs about 3$ in hose.

If you ever have the engine out make sure you delete the EGR. Apparently it can be done in-car but jesus I can't see how looking at it. Looks like more trouble than its worth in-car.
