Wow the guy looks great for 101 and he seems to be all there! On top of that i think even for his age he drives better than half the asian women out there still. At least he can hold the steering wheel straight. Good for him, he'll enjoy that car or die trying.

Word.

I'm more surprised a 100 year old person can still drive.

I'm more suprised the DMV let him renew his license.... , there should be a age restriction, once you hit 75, ur license is done

yea or at least make them take another test. Last thing you want is a senior having a heart attack while driving a 400 hp car. It's gonna take a few cars to stop that thing in a crash.

I thought they were pushing for that in alberta last year? at age 65 you have to re-qualify for you license and re-test every 5 years after that. i understand it's a bit of an inconvenience for competent drivers but for how many stories i've heard or witnessed of seniors voluntarily surrendering their license after narrowly escaping a serious accident cause by the inability to perform the most basic skills required for driving. One story come to mind of a senior leaving the esso parking lot on 17ave and reversing over the parking block, across 17ave and 2 block up 38street while damaging a dozen or so other cars, all because he thought his foot was already on the brake.
now he was lucky but if general testing can prevent such accidents then i'm more then willing to pay 50$ to keep my license when i turn 65.

He seems sharp as a tack and doesn't appear to have major physical issues. The darkest day will be when I can't drive any more. I think I may have just found a new role model.

Maybe he will take it to 88 MPH and go back to when he was young - like 80 - and do himself in. But he may have bought the wrong car for that . :D

So I guess Chris Hansen has expanded his resume of not only doing stories on 18 and unders, but also those of 100+. ;) Cool story nonetheless.

He may be old but he's faster than you. 101 + 1 = X

Good on him. Seems very sharp for his age and I would of guessed early 70's if I didn't know. People get in accidents for many reasons, even young people can have medical conditions. I worked with this guy that was 78 and I thought he was maybe early 60's. He was sharp and strong as an ox.
