hey, my friend is having a strange problem with his cavlier
His blinkers no longer blink, they just stay on, so he has to manually blink them:rofl:
my first thought was a blown relay, but I'm no electrical specialist,
nor have I had a chance to look in depth into it yet either
any ideas what could be wrong?

Flasher relay, it'll probably be under the dash, close to or on the fuse panel.

A burned out bulb will usually make them blink fast, but who knows, maybe check the bulbs?

Doesn't matter. You live in Alberta, where blinkers are optional.

It's probably the flasher relay, burned out bulbs make Mk3 Cavaliers blink faster.
Go to Pick Your Part and pull one out of another car; there's tons of J-bodies there.
