04' oz lancer vs. 04' civic sig

Is that 04 the Ralliart? That's a sweet car 165HP, I don't think I'd buy the OZ (unless that's what they're calling the Ralliart) as it's just a marked up 25K Lancer.

i dont think id get either, but between the 2 the civic for sure. But as stated before, niether... ya, the OZ lancer is basically 15"OZ wheels. there is a bit more involved, but its not a lot.

The OZ is a jacking. It's marked up huge for goofy wheels and some other useless junk.

A base lancer is like 14K, an OZ is like 25K, and what do you get? Nothing. Big waste of $$$. (Slight exageration, but not much).

I would rather have a base Eclipse than a OZ.

Good laugh whenever I see an OZ on the road, suckers.

also, he could look into a nissan spec v for about 22 base. and some nice corrola's for around 20. the echo hatch is uber cheap. The new mazda 3 GT is around 21.5. TDi Golf for around 22. base 2.0 dolf at 18.

Mazda 3 for sure, brand new design!!! sweeet car...
but between the civic and lancer -- not much different i think, oz is just like the base ones, not much different other than price.....
so i'll take the civic SIG!

the lancer oz is not 25 k.. maybe with all taxes in. i would go for the lancer.. they handle very well on ice and just becuase i hate civics.. go test drive all the cars man.. the lancer ralliart is sweet tho

the new civic doesn't look too bad. i'd look into the mazda3 though! awesome car for an awesome price, or so it says on their site!

most definitely take a look at the corolla. spec is cheap and ghetto (as many spec owners will probably tell u hehe), the civic is just, well, overpriced for what u get, the lancer is a crappy pos (ive never liked mitsu)...so that leaves the corolla.

Well, either way, $ for $ and hp for hp, Honda's SiR and RSX are getting some tough competition from Mazda and Mitsu.

Mazda 3 and Mitsu's Ralliart are about 160hp and start under $22k. While the Sir goes at $25.5k and the RSX $24.4k.

I'd have to seriously look at Mitsu or Mazda before even considering a Honda again.

Actually, I'd take the Echo hatch (RS) over either one. The lancer is a total POS, but if you're buying one, buy the base model.

The OZ has a 'funny' story behind it. It goes like this; New mitsu dealer manager told me this (he's a good friend). He hires newbies to sell his cars, but he can always tell when they'll suck.

So right before he gives them the 'blow' off, he'll give them a great deal on an OZ. Sad story, but if you know any ex-mistu employee driving an OZ, you know, you know :)

His markup/profit is huge on OZ's. Trust me, don't buy an OZ! Buy a base Lancer (gods if you must) and buy your own aftermarket rims.

You won't even know the difference. Plus you wont need eLestra afterwards ;)
