I would go see Jay at Chanda Precision Auto & 4x4. He's made a lot of custom truck/4x4 parts for people in the past. He's even made a winch bumper and tranny skidplate for a KIA. 1/4" steel should not be a problem. He's pretty easy to deal with and cuts the 4x4 community deals.

You will notice that they might as well be drag tires when you get on thick ice. But other then that I've been enjoying my MT's on my truck for two winters now and they are amazing.
Thats a deadly bumper by the way.

Could anybody recommend a shop or person to talk to about having a custom skid plate made for my truck for a reasonable price?
I installed a new bumper and the stock skid plate no longer can be used, it leaves my radiator totally exposed at the bottom.
It would be a reasonable simple design, just 1/4" plate cut to size & bent in about 3 places with a couple of holes to bolt through.
Any recommendations or suggestions on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
