You can get a WRX limited edition for under $500 on a 48month lease. 0-60 in 5.1 secs. AWD, stability control, leather, sunroof, easy to shift 5 speed manual.

Just lease the car at 3.9% over 4 years. Pay $500 a month and keep the $28,500 in your pocket.

At the end of your lease, you can decide whether you want to keep it, sell it or give it back. No need to worry about depreciation. You pay $29K for a car, off the lot, you lose $5K, someone hits you in the 1st year, lose some more. Why? LOL

Leasing FTW.

wrx 265 is a Great car. But with my wife's hot flashes Dual Climate is a must! Plus the sound system would have to go. But it wins in the GET UP AND GO SECTION!!!!!

WHATS YOUR THOUGHTS ON A LEGACY GT???
I REALLY LIKE BMW's BUT IT WOULD HAVE TO BE A 325i

You have to increase your budget buddy. You said $500! hahaha

Ok. How about VW GTI?

You should be able to get it for right around $500 if you don't want the 18"wheels or DSG (auto).

My GTI came in at $550 tax in, 48 month lease, leather, sunroof, 18"wheels, no nav.

Hyundai? :dunno:

But really, if you can afford the 265 somehow, get it! I drove my friends and wow is it a nice car

+1 265 sweet car, meets all your requirements!

Or as previously mentioned TL, A4, GTI are all good choices.

You'd have to up your budget for a 3 series though. Have you considered an SUV?

Mazda 3
Absolutely fully loaded GT with leather, SAT, Bose stereo, traction control, dual climate and maxed warranty should come in under 26G.... plenty of $$$ to spare

+1 for A4. Best bang for your buck. I looked at a lot cars in the price range. A4 was still the best and the AWD is amazing.

Also keep in mind the Audi has really good financing and Warrenty.

Im sure i'll be flamed by some f you asian car lovers, but in that price range I would never ever buy a mazda 3.

I am okay with leasing.

SO far I am going to look at a:

2006 Bmw 325i
2006-07 Benz C230-280
2006 Audi A4
2006 G35 6spd!

The Legacy Spec b on here is a US car, not sure if I want to get in bed with a US car and have issues dealing with warranty at the stealerships. I haven't heard too Many " I love the services CALGARY'S SUBARU DEALERSHIPS SERVICE DEPARTMENTS PROVIDED ME" on here.

Depending on the car I might Expand on the budget. But it would have to be a Great deal & Car.

I might just make a poll!! lol

Mazda 3 is the only one I can think of. The base 2 door GTI has dual zone climate standard but with tax and fees it will be just over 29K.

+1 for the LGT. It has pretty much everything you want except for the sound system.

I picked mine up for 21k last winter, 05 with 35k kms at the time. Plenty of get up and go, not as much as the WRX265 though. But you can mod them for pretty cheap too. $1000-2000 and you can make it as quick as the 265 easily.

You can also probably pick up a Ralliart Lancer for less than 29k used and it has plenty of go. Dunno about the dual climate control though.

Ask me if you have any more questions.

24 000 vs after 4 years you have the 29 000 valued at 10000 or less, but you still have something to drive ... so not ftw
besides, it`s only a wrx ltd

now, if you have a company ... leasing might be `the way`

any other ideas people É

Leasing is no different than financing a car. My WRX is leased, my GTI was financed. To me there is absolutely 0 difference between the two since I don't own a business. When you compare the two methods on the same car in the end you'll almost always end up in a wash.

Its when you start comparing a used car finance scenario to new car lease that the numbers start to differ.

Yeah I'll be waiting for the R20 too. Major issue with this cold snap, I hate leather. Should have got cloth seats. :nut:
