Compustar makes 2 loud clunks and doesnt start

I'm having all sorts of problems with my remote starter.. I worked on Saturday, wouldnt work today.
If I try to turn the car on with the key it wont crank (immobiliser ?)
If I hit the remote start buttons the brain box clunks twice and thats the end of its story.

Its a Pro 2-way unit, worked great all last winter and was working on Saturday but just isnt interested in me today. Any clues ?

does the vehicle crank when starting with the key?

do you see a "key" symbol flashing on the dash board?

is it an Alarm/starter combo?

I guess 11.7V at the terminals just wasnt enough for it.. gave it a boost and started first time.
