Anyone know of a Polish restaurant in Calgary? I've never found one.

first of all, polish food sucks, which probably explains why there aren't any polish restaurants. anyhow, there are a couple of delis:

1) Jans, on 5th and crowchild
2) Polcan, on heritage and fairmont
3) old fashined meat and deli, 532 Cleveland Crs se
4) Heritaage bakery and deli, on 17 ave and 37 st sw.

some of those have pre-made items, and sandwiches. not sure about restaurants, though. i'll update this post when the resident pollack gets back from grocery shopping

;)

if you're just looking for eastern eurpoean food, Jonas' (hungarian) is really good, as is the schnitzle house on bowness rd.
