BOASTING a BMW convertible among her birthday pressie haul, it's surprising no one thought to buy BRITNEY a bra.

The singer, who turned 28 last week, yesterday road-tested the white $50,000 motor that was delivered to her Calabasas home wrapped in ribbon.

But it wasn't the swish car - from an unknown sender - that had onlookers gawping as the perky singer took the steering wheel.

Still, Britney's lack of underwear was of no distraction to her as she excitedly revved up the engine and nipped off.

Meanwhile, Britney's on the verge of winning back control of her life.

The Womanizer star's team have been meeting with a view to terminating part of the conservatorship slapped on her following her meltdown last year.

The conservatorship is split into two - one over Britney herself and one over her business affairs.

Though the business conservatorship is set to continue, her dad JAMIE, lawyers and other members of the Spears camp are debating whether to give Britney free reign over her lifestyle choices, reports TMZ.
