Has anyone been here? It's a fancy vietnamese restaurant in Quarry Park in between Riverbend and Douglasglen. I've been there once and tried their $15 bowl of pho. It was good, but not $15 good. I don't mind trying out their other dishes if they taste good.

Eaten there once....Pho was good, but I agree on your thoughts about pricing. Not a bad viet restaurant for being outside the NE....

I didn't think it was terribly viet, but maybe it was the dishes I ordered.
Enjoyed the food very much, and i would go back next time I'm that far south. reasonable value too.

We got the bun. On the menu there was no grilled pork which I thought was strange. The grilled lemongrass chicken was okay but not for the price they charge. The salad rolls were good too...I think they were $8?

I think I'd try the other dishes instead of paying a premium price. Its super close to my house but Bagolac has better bun and I don't consider Bagolac the top of my list.

Great, now I'm craving sate pho from Da Bau

The nicer the restaurant, the more expensive the food. It's a given.

$15 for a bowl of pho? :eek:

We went there for dinner not too long ago. The place was PACKED! I wouldn't go there to look for straight Viet for dinner. It was pretty good fusion food though. Presentation was excellent and service was great even though it was packed.

There is no bowl of pho on earth worth $15.

Stick with pho dau bo or Pho Binh Minh. Good stuff and reasonable pricing.

Anyone try Tango Vietnamese Tropical Grill off McKnight/Edmonton Trail NE? Where Mike's Billiards use to be I think.

Just opened recently, old owner of Bagolac. This place is crazy nice inside and probably has a $15 bowl of pho too. I will check it out next weekend. Post your review if you have been.
