Can anybody confirm what a p08 is from? When I used to have my civic I came a cross a few of these but know one could confirm what they where so I nvever picked one up.

What in the world are you talking about? Can you please clarify? The only thing that I know the p72 has over a p28 is a knock sensor and control of secondary intake runners. They also have slightly different cranking/idle maps but it won't matter if it's going on a prelude. They will have to be changed anyways.
